Museum Trip

On Friday we went to the Air Force Museum in Hornby.  We did lots of learning with Chris in his awesome classroom upstairs.  He talked to us about ANZAC what it means, what it is about - it was sad and some of the real photos were not so nice.  Also what our defence force does other than fighting wars.  We talked and learned about WWI in Europe and WWII in the Pacific.  We did lots more learning too, here are some photos of us doing the scavenger hunt:

We had a great week last week we started Story Workshop where you create your story with different materials, we were inspired from a picture Miss Peters gave us here are some snaps...

We also took our "We Are Room 12" profile pictures that are hanging on our back wall of the classroom.

And lastly we discussed and jotted down "Who Are You In Room 12" this included how we want our classroom to feel, look and sound like.  This us discussing intently in groups...
