Museum Trip

On Friday we went to the Air Force Museum in Hornby.  We did lots of learning with Chris in his awesome classroom upstairs.  He talked to us about ANZAC what it means, what it is about - it was sad and some of the real photos were not so nice.  Also what our defence force does other than fighting wars.  We talked and learned about WWI in Europe and WWII in the Pacific.  We did lots more learning too, here are some photos of us doing the scavenger hunt:

Welcome back to Bromley School Room 12 for 2015!

We've had a great first week:

Monday: Meet each other - parents, child and teacher.

Tuesday: We went on an awesome outing to North Beach, to learn lots about keeping safe at the Beach.

 We went for a swim, we played different games on the sand and we even got to create sandcastles.

Wednesday: We reflected on yesterdays fun! We wrote about it, we drew about it and we bogged about it.

We had a discussion about the classroom environment and how we want it to feel, sound and look like.

Thursday: We played getting to know each other games, which taught us how to work as a team and be a valuable teammate.
